Detailed roles
Luke Dorn joins as Business Development Manager, Construction and Mining. He arrives with almost eight years' enterprise sales experience centred on the construction and mining sectors, having previously held sales leadership positions at Minetek, Tega Australia, and Gilbarco Veeder-Root Australia. Dorn will be based in New South Wales's Newcastle and Hunter region, serving a key hub for industrial and resources companies. In addition to industry expertise, he brings over fifteen years of professional sporting experience, having played with professional rugby league teams, which the company noted adds a collaborative, team-focused dimension to his role.
Tanay Morton is appointed Business Development Manager, Local Government and Utilities. Morton has nearly eight years' tenure with Teletrac Navman, progressing from a sales coordinator role to this industry specialist position within the Enterprise Business Development team. In his current capacity, Morton will focus on sales engagements with local government and utility organisations, leveraging his extensive knowledge of the company's solutions in vehicle telematics, asset management, and tracking. Morton sees his role as an opportunity to work at the intersection of technology, innovation, and public sector purpose, assisting public sector bodies to operate more efficiently and sustainably by advancing their digital transformation efforts.
Hamed Shoghi assumes the position of Business Development Manager, Transport, following over a decade working with original equipment manufacturers such as Isuzu Australia and nearly nine years with Scania Australia across multiple roles. Shoghi will serve as the primary contact for enterprise transport clients, championing the use of telematics for enabling data-driven decision-making and supporting efforts to enhance productivity, profitability, and compliance in fleet operations. He is tasked with demonstrating the impact of Teletrac Navman's solutions for safer and more efficient transport sector operations.
Growth focus
Lee noted that the added expertise from these appointments is designed to ensure the business can meet evolving customer demands across its target sectors. The appointments come as Teletrac Navman identifies opportunities for growth and increased demand for digitisation and data management across industries such as construction, mining, local government, and transport.
The new team members are expected to play a critical role in supporting clients as they develop and implement technology-enabled processes intended to improve operational efficiency and meet sector-specific requirements.
